2007 NL Central Predictions
The Pittsburgh Lumber Company (Pirates Blog) has posted a really good article predicting the 2007 NL Central. I’ll be posting my own predictions later during Spring Training, but I wanted to share this article with you because I think it was really well done.

Cubs are perennial losers. When are they going to give up on Kerry Wood and Mark Pryor? Every year its the same thing. "If Wood and Pryor stay healthy, the cubs will contend." Wood is already shut down in spring training. Offensively they look good, but after Zambrano they can't be looking for four days of rain. They will tease you this year and then fall by the wayside yet again.

I disagree with Mr. Cormier's comments. I am encouraged by the the potential the Cubs have this year. Lou Piniella is seasoned, mellowed and in position to take the Cubs to the next level. Keep hope alive!
